Thank you for your interest in the Community Leadership Course (CLC). Informed New Yorkers are essential partners in CCC’s mission to ensure that every child is healthy, housed, educated and safe.
The deadline to apply is April 1st. Final notifications of acceptance will be made by June 30th.
The 2024 CLC is a hybrid program, with about half of the sessions held in person and half remotely via Zoom. Some in person sessions will be held at CCC’s offices, located at 14 Wall Street in Manhattan, and we will also host several in person meetings at our partner organizations to allow you to visit different communities throughout NYC’s five boroughs. All CLC sessions take place on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM unless otherwise noted on the calendar, and a break for lunch is included. An independent study will be assigned to be completed in small groups. Following a graduation social in December, an Advocacy 101 workshop will be held in January 2025.

The fee for the Community Leadership Course is $1,200. Partial and full scholarships are available.
